Though our first registered doe was a purebred, our second was not. Ever since bringing Bonnie home as a 6 week-old kid we have had a weak spot in our hearts for grades. They embody the joy & freedom to experiment with goat genetics! Our grades are special to us, and not part of a master plan to "grade up" to American status. They are fun, make good, hardy milkers for families, excellent working goats and can be just plain cute!
Our experimentals, on the other hand, are either part of our grading up project or are being bred specifically to be dairy replacement does or excellent home milkers.
